these are top of the line
instead of rocking an intake... why not save up and get an accessport first or something?

posted in the wrong section....
only CAI setups are AGP ($280), AMS ($550) and HB Speed (custom order only, ~$280).
The other option is an airbox replacement, like AEM or ARC.
Do you want to retain the stock MAF housing which restricts the intake airflow but is plug-and-play, or do you want to open it up more, but would need tuned? All this has been beat to death, just do a search.

Bought the car with the injen kit already installed. It is a quality piece, but after doing a boost leak test, it was leaking air out of the MAF sensor. Not sure if there was supposed to be a gasket, but it was leaking pretty well. I put a thin coating of clear silicone and no more leaky.

has anyone logged the IAT-delta on the various intakes? If not, any reply is just speculation.

I'd say AGP or ETS. BOth top notch companies. Not sure on pricing of ETS but AGP is $280.

I'm not a fan of the ETS design because it keeps the filter in the engine bay. Having a shorter run and a f*cking huge filter should be great for dyno queens and drag setups, but it'll suffer over time once everything warms up since the intake air charge is still primarily fed from the engine bay.
ETS, K&N, Injen... none of these are CAI's, which is what the OP is asking about. They're all SRI's. Personally, I'd get a box replacement or just a better drop-in filter before using a SRI. It seems like a downgrade to me

I have their cold air intake and it utilizes the stock MAS housing. I love it and my intake temps are always ambient if not just a tad hotter. My cruise LTFT is at 1.9 with the stock latency values.

Noob question but do you need to get a tune after you put on an intake?
