"almost stock" X MR Touring tune +51 lbs/torque, +36whp by RRE
Just got my 2010 X MR Touring back from tuning at RRE and now the car feels like a proper Evo. Dramatic increase in torque especially felt in a 1-4th gear pull i did onto the highway this morning. It pushed me againstthe back of my seats, which did not happen so much when the car was stock.
The car is bone stock, except for a Cosworth dropin filter and the muffler modification where they bypass the internal flapper valve inside the OEM muffler. Even if you plan on keeping the car "stockish" its definitely worthwhile getting a tune! Big thanks to RRE and Dr. Gray

The significantly increased torque is instantly felt just crusing around town and on the highways. Highly recommend a tune of some sort, even if you're still stock.
theoretically the MPG should improve, but i keep doing pulls with my new found power :P

I think they've been in business over +12 years, give or take a few years. Their tuner (Scot Gray) has been tuning Mitsubishi's for almost 10 years i think as well. Could be wrong on the length, but i know he's been doing it a pretty damn long time.
RRE also tuned my old IX on E85, which i was probably the 2nd or 3rd Evo in SoCal to be running the stuff back in 2007

Car ran like a champ at an autocross i had last weekend at an abandoned air strip in SoCal. Only problem is i overheated the MR Tranny after 3 consecutive laps with no stops in between. Ya my lines suck, but i was just having fun getting the car sideways.... Time to get a RRE Tranny Cooler....
