NEW TUNE..Kelford 214 A, tuboback, on 93 pump
Just got my car tuned at turbotrix yesterday..The car made 355whp/389wtq on 93 pump gas @ 25psi..The cams and intercooler only picked up about 6 whp at peak but it picked up about 33 whp in the mid-range...and overall I picked up 22ft/lb tq....I guess thats normal...
Here's the mod list...
Before the tune yesterday: (350whp/367wtq)
Ultimate racing 02/downpipe
TT straight piping no cat single exit exhaust
Agency power intake/turbo inlet pipe
Ultimate racing uicp
Forge bov
Forge wastegate
Tactrix 2.0 open port with a Turbotrix tune
After tune yesterday: (355whp/389wtq)
Added mods:
ETS 3.5" intercooler
TT licp
Kelford 214 A cams
ACT extreme street disk clutch
Tactrix 2.0 open port with a Turbotrix tune
Overall the car runs smoother and has better pickup throughout the entire rpm band...Thanks to turbotrix....
Sorry if the pics arent the greatest...

you sure on that? I get $2,500 WITHOUT labor...if you had TurboTrix do the installs, that's another $1,200-$1,500. So $3,500-$4,000....

I meant the cam's were worth it for the power gain...and it was nowhere near that much for cams installed

I really don't know if getting cams is worth the price for power. They have yet to impress me. But if you are happy that cool

Where are you finding cams for $2500? Maybe I'm mistaken though...

No real gain after 5000rpms? I'd think that cams and a front mount would add at least something up top. What was the boost before and after?

I was talking about everything...
Added mods:
ETS 3.5" intercooler
TT licp
Kelford 214 A cams
ACT extreme street disk clutch
Tactrix 2.0 open port with a Turbotrix tune
You could say the clutch isn't a power mod, but it is almost necessary when pushing that much torque.
I know the car probably feels better after cams than the #'s would indicate, so I am sure you are happy with it. It just seems like an awful lot of money for the difference. I guess we are just used to gaining 50hp from just a tune $600.
But to get more and more power the cost increases with each step.
