392whp/365tq, Kelford 214-A TTP Tuned STOCK TURBO on 93!

Danny came a long way from VA to FL to come and have his pride and joy worked on. Most times you would read a thread from us about this elaborate build of parts, installations, a plan of attack for extracting the most performance from the car with the least amount of parts etc. This time however Danny did much of the picking and choosing of his parts in his home state before bringing the car down on Columbus Day. Our responsibility was solely the tuning of his ECU.

His complaints were that he had check engine lights frequently and that he felt additional performance could be extracted from retuning.

Danny had Kelford 214-A cams, Kelford beehive springs and retainers kit, 1000cc injectors, AMS intake and lower pipes, AMS FMIC, AMS downpipe, testpipe and BR twin exit catback exhaust and NISEI UICP. This is what I could see from looking at it. It was a very busy day here so if I overlooked something, I'm sure he can correct me.

The car had previously been tuned elsewhere on another Mustang Dyno. We checked and modified fuel injector scaling and latencies, remapped the entire ignition timing and fueling maps. The car was too lean for my tastes as it came in. I did not agree with the MIVEC mapping so we remapped the intake and exhaust cam advance maps. Then we moved onto the boost and airflow maps where we custom tailored the boost curves to our satisfaction which were night and day from where they came in at.

In the car came "tuned" at 349whp and left with 391.5whp/365tq on 93 octane! which is a STOCK TURBO record so far here at TTP for the Evo X on 93 octane.

Here is the dynosheet:

Just for a heads up I have a Buschur Crossflow exhaust and just the Kelford 214-A's, stock fuel pump.

OH and thanks for zip tying that vacuum hose! I'm really happy with the smoothness and power delivery. Like I said before, if you guys were up in the midatlantic, I'd bring my car to you for all my modding needs.

That looks like a one piece UICP... does AMS make one, is it another brand, or is it just a bad pic?

Difficult to believe it was on 93. If it were on E85 or race gas then it'd be reasonable.

What numbers did it produce on the other Mustang previously with his first tune???

Did it make 365hp on your dyno on a baseline run?

The baseline run is the dotted line.

What's so hard to believe? Don't stock Evo Xs baseline around 260whp on this dyno?

Exactly, this dyno is very high reading, but still decent results, nice job.
