Dom2 + E85
We've been chasing a fuel delivery issue on his car, we thought we had it but it was still doing it this time. However I was able to run some more boost through the car.
I'm really impressed with this 10 so far. Nothing is ported, stock cams and a 100% stock appearing turbo. Once we finally get the fuel system figured out I imagine it should gain a bit more power once I can bring back the boost up top. ( I have it currently tapering to 27psi)

For reference a stock 10 puts down approx 22X whp on our dyno and this Evo put down 380 whp with the stock turbo on E85 and 320 whp on 91 oct with the stock turbo.

Great numbers.
What did you end up doing regarding the X parts that the E85 fuel was breaking down: 1) the hose in the gas tank that was turning orange and getting sticky and 2) the cotton fuel pump sock? Were there other parts that were reacting unfavorably to the E85 fuel?

I can see that it spools earlier than the red. Was this run on 3rd or 4th gear? Very impressive power.

Some data from this Evo:
Stock turbo on E85 - 27.3 psi at 3300 rpm
Dom 2 on E85 - 27.3 psi at 3800 rpm
3rd gear
Once we get the fuel problem sorted I believe it will make even more power.

Hoses in tank where replaced with multi-fuel (including E85) submersible lines

Dom2 is very attractive turbo option, especially on high octane fuel. Do you have any conclusive evidence that the o2-eliminator downpipe is helping? What's peak boost at? Torque seems a bit low for peak power numbers.

No idea about the downpipe to be honest, it was installed with the stock turbo and I hadn't touched the car before that addition.
Peak boost and torque will be finalized as soon as we get the fuel system working correctly. Expect an update then.

On Edmunds Insideline Evo X GSR, they gained ~25whp across the board with the AMS widemouth DP paired (as compared to the stock exhaust elbow and DP) with the GT3076.
The stock exhaust elbow is a serious restriction for two reasons: it has some tight bends and a small outlet.

When you say you have it currently tapering to 27psi, does that mean that it is holding 27psi up top?

Wow, that is pretty amazing.
So would you say that the Dom's seem to be holding more boost than the Red's?
Because I have not seen a Red hold that kind of boost.
You have now done Dom's and FPred's on E-85, is the Dom2 just a better wheel setup or what? Because the FPreds are supposedly 60lb/min turbos and the Dom2's are 52lb/min.
It really doesn't seem to be this way though. Your thoughts for those of us leaning towards one of these?
And if this has a bunch left then this turbo might be where i go, and port it too

I haven't tuned a Evo 10 on a FPred with E85 yet. From what I have seen so far though, the Dom 2 seems to spool much better than the red, which makes sense as the wheels are supposed to be smaller.
I'll post a boost plot when the tune is finished.
