MAPerformance Dyno Day for Fun:)

So this is something almost all of you know, but here is the differences between a Dynojet and 1.0CF dyno dynamics. Enjoy! (Dyno dynamics numbers are in sig, 353-354whp/376wtq)

Oh, also, the dyno day was pretty sweet, some nice cars out there

I rode in this car and it feels fantastic! This is a great power level for evoX's to get to to really get that 'modded evo' feeling that the 8's and 9's provide at a bit less power...aside from riding in Ryan Gates' car (which is more like riding in a race car) I hadn't yet felt this way about an X. Just smooth snappy powerband, snick through gears, I was in love!

So an 8-10% difference depending on how you do your calculations huh? Very interesting especially with people claiming up to 18% or more differences!

I have talked with other people that said going from DBs DD dyno to yours have seen 15% but i figured that was a little high.

I figured i would be right around 400whp on your guy's dyno and was pretty much right. A big difference sure, but it doesn't really matter, people just need to focus on gains as has been said many times.

I agree 100% and that's why I'm a Dynojet fan as there is no human factor in the outcome which makes comparisons to other dynos a lot more reliable...

Remember the weather was different too, and MAP was using SAE correction. Is it possible to go back and look at the uncorrected numbers?

I saw about 12% on my evo8:
BBK Full / MAP Stg3 head / Aquamist HFS-1 Dynojet results

But, June30 vs Oct3rd, it was 50° colder, etc etc. It can be argued to no end I'm sure.
