what is the max safe hp on an X MR?
Thanks...I was wondering what the sst would hold up to.

depends on the dyno. But ppl have been saying the whp is fine ( ive seen it up to 360-400whp) but the WTQ is the problem (330 wtq but thats pushing it, id say a good amount under that: a good estimate is 300wtq).
To be safe, a few bolt-ons and a tune to keep under the TQ limit. Or a custom tune with any bolt-ons (including an upgrade turbo such as the FP), to gain ~380whp but the wtq is maintained strictly at 300wtq.

I dont think max boost on OE turbo can cause any damage.
If there is anybody here that damaged the SST on the OE turbo, please chime in !
Bigger turbo, beware !
