Stock turbo/block, water/meth, I may need a bigger turbo

Mod List

AMS Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X Front Mount Intercooler
AMS Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X Lower Intercooler Pipe / Cold Pipe *Polished*
AMS Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X Upper Intercooler Pipe / Hot Pipe *Polished*
AMS Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X Performance Cold Air Intake *Polished* w/ Breather Bung
AMS Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X Clutch Master Cylinder Reinforcement Ring
AMS Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X Clutch Line
Exedy Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X Twin Metallic HD Clutch
Ultimate Racing 3” Single Exit Catback Exhaust
Ultimate Racing 3” Test Pipe
Ecutek - Tuned at Lightspeed Innovations.
Forge Piston Wastegate Actuator
Xtremeboost O2/DP with external dump
DMH 3" Cutout
AEM Water/Meth, 50% methanol by weight.
94 Ethanol Mix (up to 10%)

This Dynapack 4000 reads lower than this tuners Mustang Dyno. PSI was spiking at 26.5-27, held it up to 6000 rpm or so, then started tapering to 18-19.

Last tune was 317/329, new mods were the intercooler/pipes, intake change, downpipe, cutout, water/meth.

Nice power, you need a new turbo too! The stocker just can't hold enough to redline. Another 5-6psi and redline and top end will be awesome.

Very nice numbers.

But, that is a very big drop off up top. I think you can get away with some better mivec tuning to keep the power nice and steady to redline.

Did 12.854@109.59 MPH a week or two ago. 60' of 1.893. Not the greatest of times, but I'm happy!

Can't remember, it was a while ago, this was my third retune or something. Don't do what I did and keep going back, it's way too expensive, try to do it all at once. Winter is coming in Edmonton, you sure you don't want to tune it in march when you have a few more things done?

I would love to wait until i get more mods, but my wallet is going to be empty for a long time. The car doesnt drive the best right now since ive changed some big things. This is going to have to be it for awhile so I want to enjoy the car during that time. I hope to be able to do a bunch more in maybe a year or so. Im heading out to castrol this coming friday with a buddy who has a civic that is running 11.51 @ 122. You should come out and give me a run for my money I would be happy if i got mid 13's

I suggest getting rid of your MBC, Cam doesnt like using them.
Basically, he doesnt like it because you could get a tune, then fiddle with your MBC and then if you break something you'll come back on him. It's basically to cover his ass.

Yeah i previously talked to Cam and he ordered one in for me and is going to install it. Not sure what brand but he said its all he uses and its around $100. Im not one to mess with things.
I do not have a boost guage so im not sure how thats going to work unless he has some in stock or you guys can point me in the right direction where i could pick one up in Edmonton area. That and a air/fuel guage as well. Im getting tuned this week so i cannot order one in.

Tell him you don't want to run a MBC, it's not needed. It would be a turbosmart MBC. If you want, go ahead and get a 3 port EBC, but a MBC is a waste of 100$. We removed my MBC a long time ago and showed that the results were the exact same, so I don't get it.
