Basic bolton DG tuned Evo x

Put down some pretty decent numbers for like no mods....Megan racing single drift TBE stock 02 housing, K&N cone filter, Aem tru boost controller...It was 90 degrees and 85% humidity, 25.5 psi 11.5-11.6 a/f. What a difference the boost controller made instead of using the factory ecu to control boost. Kreonic was away so Pete tuned my car and did an excellent job! The stock turbo tapers off either the stock wga or cuz of the heat and stock intercooler. For some reason my X puts down more power then alot of the cars, I seen with more mods and I can't explain it! I would of made so much more but the stock intercooler and piping was my limit. Next up will be kelferd stage 2 cams with meth My car makes power and it shows on the street thanks guys!!!

I need to talk to my tuner about ordering a 3-port before I get it tuned. The stock setup does seem rather bad but I've read mixed things about changing it out.

Well the aem came with a new solenoid which has been working well. I hear good things about the GM 3 port also but this will do for now. My car hits 26psi and holds 20psi with the stock wga...if I get the forge it might do even better. I am happy with aem so far hits hard!

Nice stuff.

If the stock intercooler and piping are what is holding you back, why don't you replace those first before you go with cams and meth?

Im just in a rush to do the cams then I will get the intercooler hahah. I added the UICP should help temps a bit now....its gonna get colder in next few weeks so I should be ok. It has just been so hot lately this has been my weakness.

Why do you say the stock FMIC held you back? I have an FP Red on my car and my stock FMIC is not getting heatsoaked at 26psi.

Maybe he needs more fans on the dyno then. It's about 92 out in Connecticut right now, tons of humidity. My car runs at about 15 degrees over ambient temp, and never goes up upon multiple WOT runs... only time it rises is obviously at a stop light or in traffic.
