Will the Rockford NAV system work after the power was disconnected...

And then reconnected?

Most factory stereos wont work without a security code after the power has been disconnected. Just wanted to know before I do my install? My last car came with a card with the security code for the stereo written on it. I don’t think that there was a card with my EVO with a security code card. I could be wrong. Thanks.

Oh yeah... I plan on keeping the Rockford Head-Unit for a little while. Just adding an Amp, speakers and an EQ.

Yes, it will work fine. There is no activation code. I disconnected the battery to reset the ECU and I had no problems with the Nav/Stereo once power was back on.
