Quick: switched power and firewall help ( EVOX)

I need help with two things:

1. Where is the best spot to vampire tap a switched power line? Wire color? Photo?
2. Best spot to run cable to the engine bay? It needs to be large enough to fit a small phone cord plug. Pics or detailed location would be great.

9500ci instalation write up coming soon...

Dont use vampire clips in my opinion, they can damage wires, use a fusetap available from kragen or the likes for 10 bux, maintains complete stock.

Search for the thread on boost gauge install, no drilling, theres a good place to run stuff. May I ask what you are running to your enginebay?

Thanks I'll search for that thread. I'm running wire for the radar sensor and laser shifters.

I have described two possibilities in these threads:
The locations should be identical on the evo as well.

Passenger side

STEPS 7-8
Drivers Side

The easiest switched is the cig lighter. Just pull the shifter plastic and it's right there like a juicy vein (you started with the vampire talk ).

Even easier is to take power from the cig lighter fuse. Eliminates the need to route the wire to the cig lighter. Use "add a fuse" kit for a clean installation.
