MMCS displaying non-English album, title, artist info

I listen to a fair amount of non-English music (primarily CJK + Latin). Is there a way to enable the display of non-English id3 (album, title, artist) info?

I tried searching the web and the forums but couldn't find anything. Perhaps I'm using the wrong keywords in my search.

The MMCS in my wifes outlander shows song titles and abums in spanish with no problem. Have you tried to insert non-english CD's? or are you just tring to name a older CD that does not have info for the tracks?

Strife, I tried a Chinese CD from the 90s and the result was:

artist: showed English name of Artist.
album: blank ... the album name is in Chinese.
tracks: titles in English showed up (in English), titles in Chinese did not show up.

I'm wondering if English, Spanish and French (?) are the only supported languages. BTW, did you have to tweak anything to get Spanish to work?

When I play Japanese and Chinese, it can not show the characters on screen. I don't know if it can display non-roman characters.

English, Spanish and French would make sense. All the products I work on for the US require only those three because of Canada, the states, and Mexico get the same parts.
