Post your zune/mp3 install setups

just curious to see everyones setup w/ mp3 players. i have a zune and i'm not to thrilled w/ the setup - anyone have any better ideas/setups? its annoying the zune doesn't have a cordless controller (it plugs into the bottom which is useless b/c the charger is using that port)

+1 on this thread. I'm thinking of running my iPod's hookup under the console to the right of the parking brake. This way I can get easy access to it. Still trying to figure it out (along with trying to figure out how to route a boost gauge.

My ipod lays on the passenger seat.

It's awesome looking. And slides all around.

And yes, holy god, your car is filthy.

Here's my iPod setup. It's no Zune, but there you go.

I have an "Official" Apple Dock that I hacked up and plastic welded/bondo'd into the coin/change/key area behind the shifter. I purchased the MR three switch blank cover and went to town. It was difficult to make fit, but now that it is there, it sure isn't moving anywhere! Electrically, it is powered (a lighter USB charger hacked up and direct wired into 12V IGN power) and hooks directly to my headunit. You could easily do this with the RF unit's inputs as well, it's not just for aftermarket HUs.

Unfortunately I have the NAV so I can't do that. I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to do this.
