Exclamation Mitsubishi MMCS made by Kenwood....

I'll be upgrading the audio in my car in the upcoming months, and to get some info on my headunit, my installer removed it and this is what we saw....

(blurred out the Serial # for privacy)

I guess you guys already knew this, but it was news to me I wonder if Kenwood will tell us how to enable VIM.... I'll have to find out

Bob.

NB: Vehicle is a 2009 Evo X MR, with A-02 printed on the face of the HU

same as subaru if i remember correctly.

honda's systems are made by alpine, and toyota's are made by denso.

i highly doubt kenwood will give anyone the hack/fix considering it will be a liability issue. you may need to befriend an engineer there who may be willing to divulge the secret.

So did I. It's possible that Mitsubishi electric made the originals and the newer ones with larger HD and full Ipod control capability were farmed out.

Does this aid us in getting more out of the 20gb/better navi and song support, and ditto on the Ipod capabilities, as that would be alot better than what I have if it is offered.
