Stereo code?

I recently had to disconnect my battery and now that its hooked back up the stereo wont turn on, everything else works fine. I have the SSS package, my buddy who works at a local shop said something about a code or combination of buttons to press to turn it on. Anyone know what it is or should I take it to the dealer?

If it is under warranty I would bring it to the dealership unless you can call and ask them. That is where I would start then if all else fails take it in. GL!

Hmm, I'd consult the dealer. I have the SSS package and I've disconnected my battery several times (once overnight) and never had to do anything special to turn the radio back on.

I've disconnected my battery numerous times and accidentally broke my fusible link, cutting off power to the stereo. It's always powered right back up when the battery was reconnected.

I would take it to the dealer if I were you.

Took it to the dealer and apparently its normal if the battery has been disconnected for a long period of time. They had to get the serial # off the top of the stereo then they put it in their computer to get a unlock code for it. Took them like an hour but works fine now, so heads up to anyone who has the same prob.
