I did that in my last car (TSX). I loved Centrafuse. I'm not sure I'm going to do it again, but it looks like you did a good job. Did you have the optional Rockford system? If so, how did you interface with the amp?

Thanks!
I have the Rockford system, I made it work with my old Alpine head unit.
See link
Stock Fosgate Amp + aftermarket radio = WORKS!!!
I just re-wired it to work with the carputer.

So the factory amp is IN the head unit? I thought it was under the seat.

Edit: Ignore that - I get it now. That looks like a pain. I think when I go about installing a NAV unit I'm just going to end up bypassing all of the factory wiring an amp and installing a 5 channel unit.

I plan to one day install a PDX-5 alpine 5 channel amp, but not until I finish the carputer.

Dumb question, How to do insert a dvd disc? where is the dvd drive located, between the seat and trunk?

Thanks, Lancer0220.
I'm going to mount the DVD read/writer under the HVAC controls like SupremeX did here:EVO X CarPuter

I just ran out of time this weekend. I still need to mount the space navigater control in the center console. I'm having someone mold it in for me.

Thanks, I think I'm going to place my 10" bandpass box in the trunck between the Batt and the washer fluid (were the computer used to be). Then create carpeted peices of plexi to replace the cheap floor and side panels.

Has anyone on here done this yet?

I moved it from the trunk to the spot in the dash between the glove box and fender. Is held in place by a metal bracket I fabed.
The PC it's self looks like a amp, only smaller. I'm using a solidstate harddrive so I don't have to worry about bumps.
