Best Coils under 1500

I wouldn't waste money on new coils under $1500. Unless you can find a good set of used KW V3's or older Ohlins. For under $1500, I would pick up a set of used MR Bilsteins or HD Bilsteins, and rock some Swift spec R springs. Save up and buy the good stuff when you can later.

i just threw away around $1000 on a set of fortune auto 500 series coilovers. we'll see how they perform soon.
for reference, I only paid $1500 for my Buddy Club racing spec coilovers when I bought them, even though MSRP at the time was around $1900. they have held up great except for the noise coming from the bearings on the top of the front struts.
I've put 150,000 miles on them, and none are leaking, and they all work fine as far as I can tell. I've put 30 or so autocrosses on them, with the most recent being a month or two ago.
So we'll see if the FA's can hold up that well.
