Eibach drop on EVO VIII...
i am only able to get 2 fingers in the front wheel well, and 1 in the rear...
before it was 4 up front and 2 at the rear...
i think it looks pretty good, and it rides basically the same as before...

Just to let everyone know, the Eibach's drop the car 1.1in. I don't think another .2" drop by the H&R springs in the back will tuck the back wheel. I think that looks great, but I think I'll want the look of the H&R's...But definitely nice!

i still have to get her aligned, as from what i am hearing, these things are not really up to spec from the factory...
spring rates on the Eibachs are 960kg / 870kg, but i'm not sure how that translates to American measurment...

Diesel: Any visual changes in camber? Are your wheels leaning in way more than they were with the stock springs?
The reason I ask is because I don't see it but I know that when you drop a Honda from stock height, you get a lot of negative camber and your front toe pushes out.
Just wondering how the Evo reactes to such mods.
Thanks in advance.

Eibach springs DO NOT settle in... that is a myth, and will not happen with an Eibach spring...
i am going to be taking my car to a tuner shop to have the alignment done, as i don't really think the dealer will set it the way i want it... at the tuner shop i can get a before and after readout of the whole thing...

no visible negative camber as on the Hondas, but you have to remember that i only went down 1"... any more than 1.5" and you will probably get the same reaction...
here's one before pic... you can notice the huge gap up front...

Nice drop, I hope it won't messed up the handling of your Evo. BTW I got the same color you got. But I won't change the suspension height on mine. I just like it the way its stock. As much as possible I don't want to modify anything in my Evo except the stereo it self.
