Falken azenis 265 or 275
What痴 up guys , I知 currently trying to do a new tire setup for my wheels which are nt03s 18x9.5 +27. I値l be going with the rt615k+ but idk if I should go 265 or 275. I知 on 10mm wide cf fenders and On 10mm spacers with extended studs. But will 275 be to much, I know I値l have to roll my back fenders and run a bit of negative camber

Are you running an evo 8/9 or X?
I think 275 will be tough on a 8/9, especially Falken Azenis. Not all tires are created equal even if they are technically the same size. Look for the tread width spec to get a feel for whats wider.
Example, I have 2 sets of 255/40/17 tires mounted on OEM evo 8 wheels.
1) Dunlop dv 102's (tread width - 8.7)
2) Falken 615k plus (tread width - 9.2)

265s are easier to fit. Start with those, observe clearance around the tire, and consider 275 next time.
I'd prefer a 10" wide wheel for 275s, but a 9.5" would work.
The 275s are going to be taller, requiring more careful attention to clearance and also making your overall gearing very slightly taller.

You should go with a better tire. Bridgestone RE71, Yokohama A052, BFG Rival or Rival S, etc...

The latest Falken offering (RT-660) is really, really close to the RE71R and a departure from what Falken previously put out with the RT-615K, etc. Bonus for having a width above 255mm for a 17" tire.
The 10mm of extra width won't be life or death for performance, but it could mean they don't fit. Try the 265mm and adjust accordingly on the subsequent tire choice.

Curious about comparison due to being inmarket for both. how did yo come to that conclusion, have you used either or both? track, vs autox? Curious minds want to know
