Thanks for the info and funny comments i have to agree it looks kinda silly after looking at the thread posted above. I all ready have my car lowered with godspeed coilovers just looking for the best wheel and tire setup to get me flush but still functional.

Duplicate the suspension set-up of this car (https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...e-evo-8-a.html) if you're looking for a "flush but still functional" stance.

This one is flush and functional, too. -> http://gates311.com/

I wonder if its an age thing, but I just don't get why anyone thinks that stretched tires and a slammed car looks good at all. I totally get that you don't want a sports car for on road driving with 3 inches of clearance in the wheel well, and you want it to look like a sports car is supposed to. But where does the 'looks cool that your tires look like they are going to pop off the rim and can barely fit inside the wheel well. It looks just as bad to me as those old oldsmobiles that are jacked up like 3 feet and have like 26 inch rims on them. I know to each his own I just don't get where that taste comes from I guess.

It's like the whole stanced thread, some of those cars look great... right until you look at the tires...

I agree with you the stretched tires don't look right at all but I do love a lowered car.

its amazing how trends get started. 99% of the trends i see got started by people not being able to afford the proper stuff. cant afford wheels that fit? just buy what you can afford then toss tiny tires on so you dont rip the fenders off. still wont fit? -6* camber should do the trick!

Eh, to each his own.

This picture did make me laugh though. I wonder if you can pressurize the IM enough to keep the car afloat.
