We currently sell that wheel in an 18x9 with a 44mm offset, supplied with a 5mm spacer. This gives it a 39mm when its all said and done.

@ Neal:

Thanks for the quick answer but you are stating on the previous page that you now offer the SSR comp without spacers! ?

I'm sorry, my mistake. I was looking at the GT-3. Whew, need more Dr. Pepper

The non-spacer Comp we carry has a 32mm offset

OZ Superleggera III
**Requires a 3mm spacer for proper fitment**

Neil...

OZ Superleggeras actually do not need a spacer I had the first set for the evo and they fit perfect....no spacer needed.

I have a buddy that wants to go 265/30/19 with 19x9 RacingHart Pro J5 wheels. The offset of the wheels are +35mm. The height of the tires are identical or less then the stock 17" tire overall diameter and the 265 is one inch wider than the stock 235/45/17s. Will these fit with a minimal drop or on stock suspension?

And again?

Is there a CONCISE thread on this board that gives advice (ACCURATE advice) about what tyre sizes suit what rims?

For example, if you run 18 x 8, the correct tyre to give the same rolling diameter as stock is???

If you run 18 x 9, 19 x 9 etc etc

I'm looking for a set of Volk GT-7s for my new Evo, possibly 18 x 9s (is that size available in GT-7s), what tyre size do I use to get the same rolling diameter as stock and not rub the fender linings? I also want to give it that 'fat' look, so what offset should I use to get that look but remain under the fenders?

Simmons Wheels in Australia do sweet rims, btw.

Go to Tirerack.com and see the specs for each tire. That will let you compare the stock 235/45/17 tire overall diameter with others. The stock tire overall diameter is 25.3". Go from there.

I still haven't got an answer regarding my question and my question has been up here for a whole week.

Regardless of lowering, a 265 is a huge width, and I doubt it'll fit without rubbing the fenders (or even the strut). Most cars I have seen with 255 width had rubbing issues.

What exact tire size did those folks who were having rubbing issues go with?

I didn't know an inch added onto the stock width was a "huge" width.

19" is the only diameter that will let Racing Harts (any model) clear the calipers. 18" is several mm too small.

Currently waiting on a set of 4 Enkei OR52 rims. They will be 18x8, 5x114.3/120 bolt pattern with a 35mm offset. Will not know till I get the fronts on to see if only the front will require a small (<3mm) spacer. Backs fit without adjustment.

This is with being fitted with 4x BF Goodrich T/A KD 225/40/18 tires.
