Is it possible to repair a IX SE BBS rim?

The roads where I live have become a nightmare with this past winter storm. I just dented the crap out of my front-driver's side BBS SE rim(Diamond Black) about 2 hours ago , I was wondering if it would be at all possible to fix the rim or am I just going to have to write it off as FUBAR'd and try to get a new one. Before anybody decides to get cute and suggest I avoided the pothole, in an ideal world I would have but the wonderfully considerate drivers to my rear and to my right had boxed me in, so I had no opportunity to evade nor slow down without getting rear-ended or causing an accident. I am on the stock IX MR Bilsteins, factory ride height. This sucker was really deep. I will be filing a claim to New York City for this, the craters in question are on a road that's an extreme high traffic area in the daytime. Totally unacceptable. What do you think guys? This blows

Pics:

Small black rectangle is my iphone. Added for scale.

The culprit

iphone added for scale of depth

In case someone isn't familiar with the iphone's dimensions, a quarter for depth scale

iphone laying in the middle of the hole that caused most of the damage

The rim. Quarter and iphone for scale.

Pic of my car in the middle of this disaster. There's a good 10 feet to the end of the pothole chain in front of and behind my car.

Thats some impressive work bending a forged rim like that. It may be able to be pulled out however I think itll never be as strong as it originally was. I was driving though NYC a couple of months ago and unfortunately hit a nice pothole myself. Although I didnt bend a rim my front left strut has developed a strange clunking noise. Anyway best of luck filing a claim through the city.

Thanks for the quick responses guys, would anybody happen to know a place in the Staten Island/NYC/NJ area that is really good with this stuff? I'll pay for quality work. If they can paint the rims too that would be great, I have a hunch that if the dent gets pulled it'll still look funny. I've been wanting to paint them black forever.

Kind of OT, but is that oil on the edge of the pothole where you are pointing...looks like someone lost an oil pan to that monster.

Nope not oil as far as I could tell, just blackened tarmac from everybody smashing into it at about 40 mph over and over again.

Preferably as close to Staten Island as possible, but will travel for quality work.

It isn't in NY, but there is a great wheel repair place near me in Delaware. Sports Car Tire in Wilmington. They specialize in wheel repair. I had a similar flat spot after my VIII was rearened at 70 mph. They fixed it without any problems.
