Need a answer hawk pads and brembo rotor slotted or drilled? or stock?front or Rear?
as title says i really dont know what to do, ive been reading on here for about three hours now and still dont know what to do, all the sort of informing threads were from 2003 or later...my car shakes when i hit the brakes at anything over about 60mph pretty bad, when i brake slowly it kind of feels like the rotors are warped because it kind of skips, are the oem rotors brembo or the pads? what should i get hawk hps pads and brembo rotors from lancershop, drilled or slotted? should i get just front or does the rear need it too? any other rotors, i am a road driver.....please help

First up - I'd do a proper 'bed in' process. That'll at least narrow down any potential issues.
If you do need or simply want to rotors, you don't need drilled or slotted really. I'd hit one of the vendors up on the forums - KNSBrakes or Girodisc for example - and they'll hook you up. Tell them how you use the car and they won't recommend anything crazy or $$.

I just got the hawk hps pads and had the same problem with my rotors shaking.
If you are only doing street driving just get another set of blank rotors. If you try to get the stock brembo ones you're going to pay an arm and a leg. Check out the guys at KNS Brakes. They hooked me up with a set of Centric rotors for real cheap.

people are quick to say the rotors are warped. Most likely due to brake dust buildup. I would do a couple 110 - 60 braking. It should fix the problem.

link doesn't work.
look up kns profile on here. They have a screen name you can use for AIM. I spent about 5 minutes talking to them discussing my mods and how I drive the car and they had them ordered and shipped out that same day.

Don't listen to this man. Sorry Evoterp, but I don't suggest he do 110-60mph stops. That is not the correct way to bed pads.

I couldn't follow the link you posted so I don't know what you were trying to show... Hawk HPS aren't bad, but not great either, they are cheap if your on a budget. Otherwise, I suggest Satisfied GS5, RacingBrake ET300, Axxis ULT. All good pads from what I've been told.

Buy blanks from NAPA. They work just fine and are a lot cheaper than those name brand ones. Rears for my WRX were $22 each.

Pad material transfer - warped feeling. Spec your rotors. They can be turned if they have enough meat on them. Then re-bed your pads.
Hawk HPS pads are crap.
The Brake Rotor, Pad, Line, Fluid, and Duct Thread
Get blanks from a number of vendors here and a good set of pads. Slotted/drilled cannot be turned if need be.

Those rotors should be fine for your app. Like Smike said, most likely what your experiencing is pad transfer not actual rotor warpage. Any of the three pads I suggest should be fine. I know Smike is big on the Satisfied GS5's, try them.

Brake pad material is transfering from the pad and embedding itself in the rotor causing a pulsing feeling when the brakes are applied.
