Question Did front and rear brakes, a couple strange issues...

So as I stated, I did all of my brake pads and everything seemed to go very smoothly. In fact, these brakes were much easier to do than a lot of my friends cars or previous cars I've owned (I'm sort of my friends' free mechanic in my free time).

Anyway, I did the front ones then did the back, but when I was putting the lugs on the rear passenger side wheel, I got them to the point where they were snug and just need the 1/2 turn to tighten up like the other 3 wheels, but they kept turning. It was almost as if I was pulling new studs into place. I'm not sure if everyone here has broken a stud and had to press new ones in, but it was kind of like that, and it was all 5 lugs on that one wheel. The rest screwed until they were snug and took about another half turn to tighten to the point I couldn't move them. I had to turnthe lugs on that one wheel another 10-15 really hard turns to get them tight, almost as if I was trying to strip them, but they kept turning and tightening. They did eventually get to the point where they stopped turning though and were good to go. The car drives and brakes better than ever now though...

Also the front brakes squeak loud when they warm up. They're all ceramic, low dust, low noise pads. Doesn't make sense. Any thoughts on both? Is there a chance that out of the factory, they forgot to pull those studs into place, or is it all machine assembly?

What kind of pads were they? Did you use any hi temp grease while assembling them?

BTW, I would pull that wheel and check to see if your wheel studs are properly seated.

I did. It honestly feels great. I barely have to push the pedal very far to brake completely. It just squeaks when I've been braking stoplight to stoplight after about 4-5 stops. It only squeaks under light braking too. If I jam on it, it goes away. Definitely coming from front too.

Fronts are Morse pads, and rears are just Prostop ceramic pads. Yeah, I've been checking the lugs and they're tight now, and it doesn't shake or feel weird driving on the highway. In fact, it feels better than ever.

I took off the pads last night to find they had a couple chips in them which would definitely cause them to squeak. Must have been defective if heat caused them to fracture. I guess I'm never buying Morse again.
