Anyone Running X MR Wheels on an VIII/IX w/ Spacers?
Is anyone running X MR BBS wheels with spacers on their VIII/IX? Specifically with Swift Sport Springs or some other lowering spring.
I am considering my options. I believe 10mm will work with no issues. 15mm will probably require rolling. I am particularly interested to know if anyone is running a 15mm w/o rolling. 15mm would be easier for me as I could probably run bolt-on style spacers and not have to worry about swapping in extended lugs.
A 15mm spacer would put me at: 18x8.5 +20.
This is 2.65mm more aggressive than a 18x9 +29 wheel which supposedly works w/o body modification on Swifts.
Thanks!

I ran a 5mm hub centric H&R spacer on my X wheels........It gave me a high speed steering wheel shake & decided to remove them.......Maybe a bolt on spacer would have worked better for me........I understand!!!.........Peace

They should, but there's no reason for it, unless you get some tires that are too wide.

The spacer puts you at 18x8.5 +23 actually.
I ran these wheels with 15mm all around and a friend is running them the same way now. Rear rolling required, front fits no problem.

thanks!!! i was assuming the rears would need rolling. its nice to know for sure. why do you say it would put me at +23 instead of +20? 35 - 15 = 20...
so i just swapped these wheels back on after an autox and i did some rough measuring with just a measuring tape. i am almost positive a 10mm bolt-on style spacer with work with the X MR BBS wheels!
it looked like the stock studs stick out ~25mm from the hub and the X MR BBSs have recessed holes at least 20mm deep!

Stock offset is +38, not +35. I have no idea where people get that number...
