Better than A046?
If you have to choose between these tires below, trying to replace the A046(equal or better)
Which tire would you get?
1- A048 255/40/17
2- Advan Neova AD08 235/45/17
3- Advan Neova AD08 255/40/17
4- Toyo RA1 235/45/17
5- Toyo RA1 255/40/17
Type of use: weekend racer: 90% extreme fast road(I like to find the car's limits) 10% city. The stiffer the sidewall the better.

RA-1s are R-Comp tires, you DO NOT want to run them on the street. It helps to know what wheels size that you are running as well.

Woldn't run the A048's either on street as they are a comp tire. Wheel sizes would help, but my vote is for the AD08.

AD08 have better grip than A046 and better wet traction. Consider Dunlop Direzza star spec Z1 as well they are nearly as good but cheaper. Some like Kumhos but they have poor wet traction and that is an issue here in the NW where I drive. You can also look at Nitto Nt05. They have a loyal following here in the NW. I run 17x8 rims. My advans are 235/45x17

Why would not be a good idea to run the A048 on streets?
Is something related to heat cycle?

Unfortunately the Z1 star spec, RE50A, RE-11, S03, Kumhos, Nittos to name a few are impossible to get. Not available in my area.
The other options would be: PZero, T1-R, AVS, PS2, Z1 V101... but based on reviews here, they are not up to the task, I mean, not as stiff as A046.

One more option available Toyo R888 235/45/17
I read somewhere that RA-1 and R888 have soft sidewall for hard track, compared with A046... Is it true?

double post...
but if you want a comparison to the A046, go with another street tire. AD08... All other tires listed would be apples to oranges.

I'm including R-comp tires because I came to the conclusion that there is not any tire with a stiffer sidewall and any tire that can compete with the A046.
I prefer to drive 5k or less miles safely and with a hard feeling sidewall that allows me to drive in my style than 50k with a soft sidewall feeling
