btw, here's a nice tire testing article on medium priced summer tires under $160 unfortunately, the Ventus rs3 wasn't out at the time

I purchased a set of direzza star spec z1 the are very good sticky tires.. And the tread ware on them is also fail.. I tracked them a couple times tho. Great tires

For dry tracks, Kumho XS is the best bet. I went with AD08 as it's a great wet tire but the XS is supposed to be faster in the dry. My datalogger shows I'm pulling 1.4 G's on the AD08's
