17 x 10 " +12 offset 5Zigen FNO1RC vs 17x9.5 RPF1s
Hey
Im wondering as to the fitment possibility of the 17x10 FN01RC on the stock bodied Evo IXs...currently im running 17x9.5 enkei RPF1s 38mm offset with a 20mm spacer up front...it fits with no rub and could probably go with a wider tire...so the question is with slight massaging what offset might be needed to get it to work, is it possible and who can get this rim
I would be interested in flat black or bronze
any help is appreciated

the rear the widest i have seen on a stock body was a 18x9.5 +40 with a 285 hoosier on it... and that was pretty close..
in the front i personally run a 18x9.5 +20 with a 285 r-compound and it barely fits with 3.25 degrees of camber...
being my track setup i did massage the fenders and cut the bottom of them so they wouldnt rub..
good luck with your setup though

Take a mm ruler to your current 17x9.5 front wheels... The new wheel will extend 12mm out farther than your current front wheels.
If you have 17x9.5 38 et on the rear with no spacer then your new wheel will extend 32mm out farther than your current rear wheels.
BTW this is the same wheel I have been thinking about running. Do it so I can see what it looks like. It's gonna need a lot of pulling and rolling.

well wouldnt it only be 6mm in the front, since the rim width is only increasing .5 inches or 12mm total?
the rear has a ton of room to space outwards however
fronts are 38mm w a 20mm spacer making it 18mm offset to clear the calipers
rears are 38mm
maybe i should draw it and put it on paper

No!
You have 9.5 with 18 et
You are going 10 with 12 et
You are adding 0.25" or (6.35mm) to the outside edge going from a 9.5 to 10" wide wheel plus you are going from a 18mm to 12mm et (6mm difference). Total is 12.35mm farther out on the front wheel.
Trust me I have owned a S13 for 5 years. You are required to go to JDM super tyte offset school if you own one.

ok so then what 17x10 in what offset will work without modding the fenders too much?
I know the 9.5s fit without any mods
im curious what 10inch width will work

A 17x10+12 will be somewhat hard to fit in the rear, but not a problem in the front, unless your planning to run some crazy big tire. What do you have for tire sizes now, and what brand? 12mm further out will not be a problem if you say you have rrom to spare in the front, its only half an inch. 0100 was correct in his measurments.
In the rear, if you want to run a 10" and run wide tires, I would do an offset in the range of +26 to +35. No larger than +35 though, because you might hit the lower control arm.

FN01RC comes in a 17x10 +25
Front: The new wheel outside edge would sit 1mm in and the inside edge would sit 13mm closer to your strut.
Rear: The new wheel outside edge would sit 19mm farther out and the inside edge would sit 7mm closer to your strut.
