hotchkis sway bar broke

well i have had my evo for about 3 days now and yesterday i heard this horrable clunking sound comming from the rear suspension. so this morning i looked under the car and the hotchkis sway bar's mounting bracket all broke. so i call hotchkis up and i went down there and they gave me new brackets with no questions asked free of charge. turns out the brackets were updated in late 2005 and are not about twice the thickness.

just a heads up for ppl with the hotchkis sway bar

Pretty much everyone with the old brackets had them break shortly after installing. Same thing happened to me and they were appologetic, sending out a new set of updated brackets in a few days

I check mine every time the car's on a lift. Even though it's the newer, stronger bracket design I'm a little paranoid. So far so good.

Good customer service...but I would rather not deal with a broken mount for a loooooong time.

I want the upgraded rear sway, and am eyeballin the stout-mount de Perrin.

Again, good cust svc Hotchkis.
