Rota Wheel Pics

I finally got some new wheels and tires for my 03 VIII. I had 47K miles on the previous tires which were beyond bald (past the warning bars .... essentially ring baloney). The previous tires were Dunlop SP5000 all-season. They did an OK job but no where near the winter performance that I was hoping for. In hind site, Michigan is probably not the best place to go with all-season tires (for winter) on an EVO that gets driven 80 miles a day round trip through a very rural area. In fairness though, 47K with 3 trips to Gingerman is not too bad. However, I figured it was time to break down and get a dedicated summer and winter set up. Summer set up shown is -

Rota Torques Hyper Silver (with Carbon cap)
Rays Dura-Nuts black lug nuts
Goodyear F1 GS-D3s
(thanks Neal!)

I also put on a tire pressure monitoring system just for giggles. My winter set up will be Dunlop M3s on the stock wheels. Here's few pics. (Yes I know there's going to be a lot of "drop that 4x4" comments but I drive through a lot of snow in the winter and I need all the height I can get).

Thanks.

ctninea,
Thanks. Maybe in a year or two I'll look at getting some drop.

Evo Girlie,
I wanted these wheels and there is not an 18" version that I am aware of yet. I believe they weight about 19 lb. which a couple less than the stock 6 spokes. They should look pretty good on yellow. If you check 18 Racing I believe they do have hyper black.

Kerndog8,
I agree, they're an excellent value.

weights? weights? weight? yes. I want to know weights. ANyone know of a site where they tell you the rota weights? I'm comparing rotas and the new K1-ts from Kosei.

MikesEVO2006,
Thanks for the PhotoChop. I was wondering what CF goodies might look like.

Kerndog8,
Maybe someday (after 100K miles) I'll get the kind that you can adjust from inside the car.
