uneven tire wear...?
i looked at my front tires today and to my suprise the inside tread were all worn down to noting..the rest from the inside on out looks fine w. the miles on my car(14k) weird thing is both the left and right were the same..
1.could this be because of tire pressure...? i check it and it was @25 psi
2. alightment issues..?
3.whats the stock tire pressure anyways...? isnt it 32psi..?
well i have to buy new tires for the winter anyways..just wanna make sure theres no probs...for me next summer...
thanks..

1. Have you ever rotated the tires?
2. Have you ever had your alignment checked including what the pre-inspection alignment specs were?
3. Factory tire pressures are listed in your owner's manual. 32 PSI for the front and 29 PSI for the rear.

your alignment is off. The top of the tires are pointing inside like / \ .
Get your alignment done and have your tires balanced.
They wont warranty something like tire wear due to mis-alignment. But it's worth a try. They'll tell you its normal wear and drivers fault.
Good luck.
My tires are wearing middle out, but that's how E100 yokos wear pattern is...

My tires were completly gone on the inner part of the tire at 4K. They replaced all four under warranty and gave me a free alignment. Your tire pressures are way too low!!!!!!

The Evo is the only car I know of that comes with a bad alignment as a standard option Seriously a lot of people on this board (myself included) had problems with tires wearing uneven. I had to get my car aligned at 2500 miles, and it was way off.

Not necessarily.....usually when it's the very inside of the tread wearing fast it's a toe-out condition.
Hey Q, what up bro? You like those 272 bumpsticks? Damn over 330whp. Sounds like I need to add those to my list. TTY soon. -Adam

It might not be alignment, it might be the way your tires wore out. I had the same thing in my other car. Car was pulling badly to the left, I switched the fronts with the rears and it was normal again. If your alignment was bad it should do the same thing no matter which side you put on. In the EVO case only front with the back.

bumping an old thread:
I am at 12k miles, no agressive driving to speak of (had the car about 20 months) and the inside tread block on the stock advans is worn almost all the way to the cord. I rotated them today and will be getting an alignment.
My car is 100% stock btw and has never seen a track of any kind

A rifle doesn't come sighted in from the factory. Neither does the Evo.
