TRDHarrier Oct 29, 2003 01:46 PM

How much do they cost? Do they have the same exact size as the stock rims?

GranMassaX Oct 29, 2003 01:47 PM

Value tells me the weight will be somewhere ~14lbs since they are lighter than the Type C's.

webguy330i Oct 29, 2003 01:55 PM

The GT2 is so hot!

GranMassaX Oct 29, 2003 01:59 PM

I'm looking to get 18 x 8.5

not sure on the weight of the volks, but value told me that the ssr in 18 x 8.5 weighs in at 17.67 lbs.

I will update the first two posts now....

MrBonus Oct 29, 2003 02:46 PM

boostedwrx Oct 30, 2003 12:45 AM

I hope the black chrome doesnt look to chromy....

in my expierence chromy looks ricey.. But these should look good.

GranMassaX Oct 30, 2003 06:09 AM

is it possible to edit that pic and make it a silver car instead of red? I've never used photoshop, so I'm clueless about that.

I definitely like the looks of the GT2's better, but not sure how they will look on a silver evo. Can any of you guys help me out?

jeez, deciding on what rims to get is such a hassle {pick}

boostedwrx Oct 30, 2003 10:02 AM

Yes it is. Or you can be like Diesel and just buy a couple sets of Volks LOL
(sorry D- couldnt resist!)

Is that the GP sports front bumper? Looks better everytime I see it...

zstryder Oct 31, 2003 03:18 AM

Do any of the 17" versions of these rims fit our car, or do they not clear the calipers?

import_speedzz Oct 31, 2003 07:17 PM

The SSR looks hype..... Go for somethin different... The Volks are the ultimate... But now, its so easy to get

Wecydevo Nov 1, 2003 02:30 PM

gt2 all the way...

GranMassaX Nov 3, 2003 01:35 PM

does anyone think that the GT2s are too shiney for the evo (silver in particular)? That's my main concern. :helpme:

Charlie-GT Nov 3, 2003 01:48 PM

LE37T....those look better

DrEvo May 11, 2004 07:32 AM

Those SSRs are sick man! I don't think they would be too flashy, by the way do you know how much they weigh? Also, its getting to the point that EVERY body and their GRANDMA has Volks! I know I am gonna get burned for that one, hehe.
I love volks too :headbang:

GranMassaX May 11, 2004 07:39 AM

hey, they are both nice wheels, but I ended up getting these.... http://www.privatwheels.com/html/fahren.html

DrEvo May 11, 2004 07:54 AM

Holy crap those are nice too, do you have any pics you can post with the wheels on?

GranMassaX May 11, 2004 07:59 AM

I do, but they are still on the digital camera. I'll get them up soon!

WRX1832 Sep 18, 2004 06:10 PM

Any interest in bronze CE28N's? I have a less then 6 month old set for sale and they are sized 18x8.5 with Kumho's mounted on them. They also have the Volk carbon fiber centercaps in addition to a brand new set of black lugs.

Let me know if you are interested as I am going out to Lebanon Valley NY and could meet you somewhere.

Mike

M3this Sep 18, 2004 09:40 PM

Get The SSR Professors! ... they look like the GT2 but in 3pc! sooooooooo tight!

value Sep 19, 2004 11:09 PM

GranMassaX Sep 20, 2004 08:39 AM

Derek888 Apr 6, 2005 11:01 AM

And the opponent looks damn good! The SSRs finish is too shiny for my taste …*almost a black chrome bling. That's why I voted Volk.

evo-mr Apr 11, 2005 11:28 PM

nice

If you want black, you should custom order the Volk TE37 in the Diamond Black color. The GT-2 got nothing on them. Too bad you need t wait like 3 months for them.

Those are Racing Hart CPF-tune in black chrome. I think they are lighter than both Volks and SSR's.
