My '03 Rally Red Evo

Here is a picture of my 2003 Evo VIII. It sits on MR BBS wheels powder coated gloss black with 235/45/17 Nitto NT555's. It also has MR Bilstein struts on Swift springs. The car makes alittle over 400whp on the stock IX turbo and E85. Its an great DD car that is reliable and a blast to drive not mention that it rolls up V8's all day long!

E 85 has worse fuel economy, clogs injectors/hard on fuel system, hard to start when its cold outside and smells like stale beer. The past couple nights it has gotten down to like 50 degrees and it takes a minute to get it stay running. However it makes BIG PAWR for $2.29/gallon and equivelant to race gas! It is also better for the enviroment and it's price doesnt go up and down like gasoline. I have ran E85 for about 6,000 miles now and may be time to actually take the injectors out to clean them as opposed to just running injector cleaner through the fuel system. I have also heard that E85 requires a better quality oil than factory fill which is already expensive enough.

E85 has a much higher content of water than that of the oil. This produces less efficient fuel burn and in tern will not result in the same fuel mileage of that of the regular pump fuel.

also if you let your car sit for 2 or 3 weeks with E85 the water will separate and form at the bottom of your tank.

I will go out and check the top plate right now and see if that is the cause. My only complaint with the Swift's are they aren't low enough in the front just like another 1/4" to 1/2" would be suitable. They ride awesome on the Bilstein's, its truly is the best DD set up in my opinion! Not to mention it corners a lot better than the stockers. BTW I have the regular Swift's not the Spec R's, I wanted those but a local guy had these and I couldn't pass up the deal on them I got.

I like them a lot, they ride good, have decent traction for an all season, and are very affordable! I will be buying NT555's again.
