So since you did the swap very recently, lets here your opinions of what you like/dislike about your IX compared to your Subbie.

Thats such a hard question to answer. The evo is a step above in my opinion. The interior, the smoothness of the 4g63 and the overall feel of the car. When you drive the evo, everything seems so controllable. Steering is dead on, braking pedal feel is amazing, and having the mivec is simply awesome.
My wrx was awesome, I learnt a lot from it. I had it modified exactly the way I wanted and it still doesn't feel as good as the evo does, stock.
The evo is a drivers car, the wrx is the cruisers car.

Yeah, I agree with all above, that is one clean wrx. First one in a while that I have actually enjoyed. 7k on that evo is a great find. Really hard to find that low miles on a 9. Welcome to the 4g63 world!

I haven't really pushed the car or anything like that yet, but so far everything is much more responsive.
Thanks for all the comments everyone.
