Accident - Help with Damage
So.. first accident after about 11 years of driving. wet, dark, hit some leaves and just lost traction. sucks, but it happens.
anyway, was wondering what you guys think of the damage and what im looking at $$$ wise. For the Northeast people, I talked to Pruven Performance in CT about the repairs.
Just curious until I hear from the insurance co. about an estimate. I just paid it off in september, so this sucks.
If the pics aren't loading for you, please just check out the album here.

The hood may be warped, its hard to tell. the hood latch is stuck shut, but i did get a look at the radiator from the inside and the turbo dump may have just pushed hard enough to damage the radiator a bit.
Let me know what you guys think.

No pics. And search about Pruven, I'd consider what you find. An example of searching it on Youtube for example. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-8AKN...eature=related

+1 on buy used or aftermarket. I let my insurance company do my bidding while i deployed and they charge rediculous, 1200 per hid headlight 900 for a hood ect..I ended up replacing both headlights, hood, bumper, fenders, radiator, and the intercooler with paint and work it was just under 12k (like 45 dollars from being totalled) not to mention my increased insurance for 7 years. If i could do it all over i would of just fixed it myself but to each his own.

it's a lot more than just that...front bumper, side skirt possibly, any dents in the quarter or door, fender liners, hardware, and painting half a car.
don't even bother adding this stuff up, that's what you pay insurance for. if you want to go aftermarket, take the money from your insurance and go shopping. otherwise just drop it off at a REPUTABLE shop. do your homework...

You pay your insurance for a reason - just claim it - that way if anything underlying is damaged - it will be covered. That looks like a fairly minor hit - but like someone said - over half the car will need to be repainted to match paint properly.
Now with that said - you would be crazy not to take the money and try to pickup most of those parts used. Then take used parts to a bodyshop and have car fixed.
Things like the headlight you will come out $900+ ahead. Have bodyshop say bumper/lip needs to be replaced - but most likely it can be saved. Fenders new are $400+ new - used ones are $150-200.

Did some more looking in the daylight. doesnt look like the radiator support is bent, but the car is leaking coolant, and the intercooler is definately busted.
I'm guessing what needs to be replaced without having up on a lift is:
1- Hood
2- Front Fender
3- Intercooler + pipes - probably aftermarket
4- New Blizzack (less than 2000 miles on the set) 1 is blown out
5- Rear Bumper - JDM 9
6- Passenger headlight
7- Front Bumper/lip - Evo 9
8- Undertray
9- Side Skirt
I've been to pruven performance before and I thought they did good work. I'm confident in their work, unless anyone has better suggestions.
Thanks for all the info guys.

Hard to estimate from photos. I would take the car to a reputable collision repair shop.
I would estimate about 5-6k in damages from the pics. You need a tear down for a proper estimate. Looks like you will need the whole side painted and the front; rear; deck lid; and hood blended.
