Another CBRD widebody TA build
We are happy to post that we have finished our third evo in the past couple of months that was being built for time attack and weekend track use. This car belongs to a long time client and friend of ours, Mr. George Slavov. For those of you that haven’t seen George post, he coined the phrase “CBRD BBK- it’s kind of like having sex with a hot chick” LOL!!
The car was on standard size wheels/tires before… with ohlins DFV’s, our fmic, our radiator, BBK turbo S1 cams, and so on..
It now sports a Voltex Widebody kit in the rear, with our special CBRD mounting technique. This entails us reinforcing the new bolt on fenders, riveting the body, cutting and fusoring the body and finally bolting them on. Doing it this way, allows us to remove the fenders easily if ever damaged.
We also added voltex front fenders, voltex canards… which were custom trimmed to fit the oem bumper by Mark our in house tech (and part time body work guy!)… We installed an autopower 4 point rear cage, S2 cams, and changed the car to ECU controlled boost (from an Eboost).. Stoptech brakes with Pagid blue pads were added along with CBRD Custom Ti brake pad backing plates and CBRD Ti lugnuts.
The car will be running in the street class for TA and on weekend TT and HPDE events..
Here is a mod list:
CBRD Spec’d Ohlins DFV’s
CBRD FMIC
CBRD Radiator
CBRD BBK
CBRD Tune with ecu controlled boost- 380whp/355wtq on 93 octane
355 6 piston stoptechs
CBRD Ti brake backing plates
CBRD Ti lugnuts
CBRD modded Voltex rear fenders
CBRD tow hook
Buschur Stage 3 Cylinder Head
Voltex front fenders
Chargespeed front lip
JDM rear bumper
Autopower 4 point rear bar
And some more little bits!

love everything, but that 'thing' over the rear 1/4 panel and rear wheels, looks like it belongs only in the Mad Max series... just my $.02

Yes, that car is HOT. Very nice. I like the rear wide body that isn't bondo'd in to hide it.
