Gezzz, didn't realize this much was involved. I was under the impression it could just be cut and then sand the edges down nice and even.

^^ nah, if you look behind it its hollow. so you have to put something there to bridge the gap which needs to be strong enough to keep the bumper from sagging the middle. fiberglass wouldn't be able to bend like the stock material so that wont work. needs to be some type of plastic material.
then it needs to be sanded prepped painted.

doing the same thing i have 2006 evo mr and i have a buddy that has a 2003 evo gsr and we r going to trade them out but do yall think that i should shave the nose

it looks the way it should from the factory that is the reason im not wanting one over a 9 bumper. but if you want ill buy your 9 bumper from you so you can buy an 8 and do this? ill even come get it

I think the mod looks nice, lil bit of both worlds. I'm going to have to be alone and admit that the main reason I like the 8 bumper is because of that triangle area. lol. oh well for me.
