I dont have any gaps like those, I put it on from the center and pulled one side around the fender and held it and had a friend push it all the way around the other fenderand up to sit flush and then he came back to my side now the lip is going NOWHERE. and he pushed up each area , screw by screw - USING STOCK ORIGINAL SCREWS - no pre drilling, we screwed it in wherever it sat flush, this is part of johns philosophy, Every lip fits differently.
