And for your information, that 'indent' in the middle of the lip is where the Ralliart logo would go if it were authentic. But of course, a wise guy like yourself would already know that... seeing as how you have the real thing.
did he post something and then delete it ? That guy for lack of better words is a dick. There is nothing wrong with this lip that would make me spend 500 more on the ralliart. I think you need to refit yours. Wish you were closer, id help. Read what i did and see if that gives you any ideas

Yeah I did the install by myself, the big problem was i started drilling holes even before test fitting the lip to the bumper... which ultimately was my biggest mistake. I wish I had all this information available to me the day I received the lip. So I think I'll be going back to my SE lip setup so it looks right again haha.

dont give up... redrill. you should be able to slide everything up once you drill again. the piece has pretty strong mounting tabs so it should handle it just fine

Hey bigric09, thanks for the encouragement! I gave it another try, taking my front bumper off for the 5th time in 6 days lol. I used a hair dryer to warm up the lip for the install and used more muscle to get the lip to fit more flush with the bumper and close the gaps. Here's some updated pics!

looks 200% better, arent you glad you took your bumper off for the 5th time lol. My damn plastic cap that covers the screw holes in front of the bumper fell off on the way to work so i gotta buy another one. And you are lucky, for you i'd assume its just the normal bolts. I have to take off my radiator shroud which means i have to take off the radiator brackets up top and the 2 bolts holding it to the chassis.

I'm really pleased with the way it looks now. Hopefully, this finishes the front of my car. Now it's time to turn my attention to the backside haha.

I want the JDM IX bumper too... I'm just concerned with the "pearl white" bumpers that have landed recently.

just installed mine, and had some fitment issues as well. my friend at the dealership helped me put it on. as far as we can get it on without gaps, it didn't work too well. started from the middle and worked our way out. The lip seemed kind of short maybe a 1MM or so. My friend has installed other ralliart replica's no problem but he said this one was a much tighter fit to it. For the price this lip was offered at, I wouldn't worry about it too much.
