looks great and dandy, but most (all) tow hooks are designed to support the weight of the car, not just as a "pull me" spot.

that definatly would not support the car.

here's a bolt on version..would have to cut the hood though

I wouldn't trust that strut tower hook, the right way to do it is to attach the hook to the frame rail.

And cutting up the hood just for a tow hook is rice, any way you cut it. The strut mount isn't the most solid point on the car.
