I am VERY interested in one but I have a Stock IX BOV, would this help me? I run 26PSI and it drops to about 20PSI, how will this help? I have a Stock Location Setup, will it fit stock location and will it run as smooth as the Stock IX Box? i want to pull the trigger but I have tried MANY BOV's (Stock VIII, Stock IX, Crushed IX, Crushed 1G BOV, HKS SSQV, Greddy Type S, Tial) and with the exception of the Type S they all caused the car to buck and compressor surge. I plan on a Red soon.

Details?

This blow off valve or the APS blow off valve will both hold well past 26 PSi. You may experience slight flutter at partial throttle, but nothing serious. It will also install in the stock location. Here is a review thread that was posted here on EvoM:

Synapse Sychronic experience

Thank you!

Do you have to weld a flange to run this? Can you provide detail on how the Evo adapter works?

No, there is no welding required. The adapter is a rubber Evo-specific piece that is inserted and allows the blow-off valve to be installed in the stock location. The install is very easy
