As if to sweeten up the deal, for my military brothers, ETS even offers us a 10% discount on all purchases. This is by far the main reason why they are getting my hard-earned Iraqi saved money.

I have:
Supertech Dual VS, Ti Retainer, Seats, VSeals
1000cc's
Walboro 255
ARP Headstuds
ETS Intake
ETS Hardpipe kit (less LICP)
ETS 3" FMIC
Kelford 272's (MIVEC)
3 port
Gates TB Kit w/new Mitsu water pump
any other requirements or recommendation?
assuming I prolly need some head and block work for that kind of power, is there anything you can do on an HTA3076 kit?

I can work something out for you, send me a PM with what options you want.

The more and more I read about what ETS is doing, the more and more I gain respect for what they do for the EVO community.
Michael, would you be interested in a group buy for us military types on various turbo set ups? I have a buddy here who wants to get himself one of the CBRD turbos that you and I have spoke of.

the group buy, might be hard unless we get a ton of people, we do offer the 10% military discount though.

Maybe I need to be schooled in the aspect of the various turbo options on the ETS website. I'm fairly confident in my knowledge of the Garrett turbos to include those with the HTA treatment. But I'm not sure where the "Trim" and "PT" turbos rack and stack against them as far as spool up and flow rates on a similarly set up 2.0L. There are over 25 different turbo options on the ETS website and choosing the right one can be a bit overwhelming especially when you consider the HTA turbo options carry a $800 tag. I'm hoping that I'm not the only one with these concerns and I apologize for the semi-thread jack if this is off topic. These are the turbo options listed on the ETS website:
50 Trim
50 Trim BB
54 Trim
54 Trim BB
58 Trim
58 Trim BB
60 Trim
60 Trim BB
PT 61
PT 61 BB
PT 67
PT 6765
GT 3582
GT 3076r
3076
3082
3082R
HTA 3076r
HTA 3582r
HTA 37r
PT 6262 BB
PT 6262
PT 6265
HTA 3586r
Keeping all factors as identical as possible except the various turbo chosen and without getting into a technical debate of any kind, typically when would each of these turbos would reach full boost the soonest at their given "sweet spot" on pump gas only?

Double Post! =)
In all honesty, I need to revamp the site a little bit. I wouldn't really recommend any of the turbos between 50-58 (due to surge) They work great, but they do surge! If you can get around the surge, it's one of the best you can run.
The main turbo we recommend is the 3076R (Garrett or HTA) 3582 (Garrett or HTA) 3586 (HTA) precision (6262) and precision (6765).
We do have other kits like our twin scroll 4088R and 42R kit, but for the average user it's hard to pass up the spool of the 3076R or the power of the HTA86/6262
Not many turbos can make 570hp at 21psi! (HTA86)
The CBRD turbo's are great turbos if you are looking for a turbo that is between the 50-58 and doesn't have the surge problem. It really depends on the goal. It's very hard to write that out on the website, so the best thing to do is call in and talk with me about what you need. Once we know your power goals and what you plan on doing with the car, it's not hard to make an educated decision on which turbo kit to purchase.
If anyone has questions, let me know!
Thanks,
Michael

Awesome feedback as usual Michael. As far as my goals are concerned, I want something between 500-515whp with a wtq of as close to 500 as possible. And I want all of this done before 4800RPM. I've seen the FP Red on meth achieve this on meth but to be honest with you the wait time, supposed surge issues, and upgraded oil line requirements are IMO not worth it. On a Mustang dyno, I've seen a 3076r on pump set at 31 PSI make 520/460 which IMO is nearly perfect for my goals. I'm not sure if this same could be applied to all of the 3076 variant turbos (i.e. - 3076, 3076r, HTA3076r). For some reason, the HTA35r seems to be sticking to me as I've seen it make 550/400 on a Mustang dyno set at 31PSI. But again, I'm not sure if this can be achieved with the other 35-turbo variants as far as the spool is concerned. I'm interested in the CBRD variant turbos but I'm not comfortable making a $3,000 or so purchase without at least seeing how the turbos rack and stack against other turbos. Given my goals, what do you think?

Which turbo would have the closest spool up to like the stock 9 turbo, fp green, or fp red?

I'm here in Iraq now and the simple question that I have is that I want about 500whp with as much as 500wtq as possible. I plan to stay right at the 30PSI mark on pump gas. I'm torn between the HTA35r or the HTA3076r both with the 0.63 turbine housing. Which would be the better choice? Thanks.

Would this be possible with just the 3076 alone? What spool differences would I gain for going the HTA route with the additional $800 price tag?
