Got a boost gauge that reads past 30psi and lights up blue

Yes, we actually do. It isn't posted on the front page yet though. AEM has their Analog series that reads up to 35 PSi and you can select the backlight color. The price is $145 shipped for either a white gauge face or black gauge face.

This is an option but I think to be safe I need one that reads up to 40 psi

The only boost gauge that I would have to meet that would be the AEM Digital Display Boost Gauge for $199 shipped. It will read up to 50 PSi, however, it doesn't light up blue.

I like the stri dsd series but it lights up white. You think I could possibly change it to blue somehow?

You'd have to open the gauge up and attempt to change out the LED. I'm sure it's possible, but I'm not sure if it's worth the trouble to be totally honest.
