Are you recirculating or venting to atmosphere? HKS SSQ doen't work very good on an evo. I used to have one and sometime stalls here and there. I got the HKS EIDS and everything was solved. If your all stock the oem bov is fine. but i did it for the sound, runs crappy, went back to oem bov. live and learn

Do you have it VTA or recirculating? If you VTA then you need to cap off the hole on the air intake where the oem bov was at. Im posting a linking that will show you how to recirculate which should be your best bet.

HOW TO: HKS ssqv bov recirculating kit
