How to clean headlights?

My headlights have formed like a rough look in the front and was wondering how to get them clear and clean again.

I use Mag and Aluminum Polish from Mothers product on my integra headlight and other cars and its work really good, only $8-10 dollars from pepboys or autozone

mequires makes restoration kit and it works well from what i am told.

wet sand: "Remember 600=>1200=>2000=>2500grit"
..bucket of water, and I use a buffer at the end. It's dirty and it takes awhile if done properly, well worth it though.

The best results can be had with a rotary polisher, but can be dangerous in the hands of those inexperienced with rotaries.

You can also use an orbital polisher, but it would take a bit more time.

Try buffing them first. Then if that doesnt work get one of those products.
