I just put in new spark plugs, and my car started misfiring when i first started it up, so i put the old spark plugs back in and now the car is still misfiring. I used NGK Iridium plugs to. I reset the ECU and checked if all the spark plugs are working, they are. Everything seems to be fine. But the car misfires and i don't know what to do.

HELP!!!

The car ran fine before i did this and now it is misfiring like crazy.

try the last set of plugs and see if that fixes it - maybe you have them gapped wrong. There are specs on that...

Same exact thing happened to me. I even tried changing the gap (wider and shorter). Replacing the old plugs didn't help either; still misfired. It ended up being the coil packs that blew. Replaced the wires too. Why in the world would they just blow at that time though? I still don't know. Make sure you didn't plug the wires back in in the wrong order though. (The Firing order is 1-3-4-2)

OK, maybe I'm a bit dumber than the average joe, but could you please explain what the firing order means? Is it that you number the spark plugs 1234 from left to right, and the firing order numbers correspond to these numbers? Also, there are 2 coil packs, each driving 2 spark plugs. How do we tell which output of which coil pack fires first, second, etc?

I have changed numerous plugs without unplugging a singe thing so I don't know why you would have an issue.
