yeah i plan on giving this fouler idea a try... when installing my exhuast me my buddy and my uncle ( a mechanic ) we realized that you have to extend the wires on the o2 sensor to reach the bung for it... so we cut off the bung on the test pipe. and moved it back onto the cat back... this should work as well regardless of where i put it as long as its behind where the cat is correct??? this seems like a cheap and easy fix... i'll give you guys a post with pics seeing if i get to close to the undercarriage, but i doubt it will.. it looks like theres A LOT of room

I installed a MR 3" downpipe, an Ultimate Racing hi flow cat and a Buschur Racing catback and immediately started getting CELS about every other day. I tried the fix with the PEP boys anti foulers, drilled them out and installed them in about ten minutes, and I haven't gotten a CEL since then, and it has been about a month. Great suggestion, and no clearance issues on the BR system.

The undercarriage is just thin metal. Since the O2 sits below the passenger side seat I just tapped at it with a hammer and bent a small section up so that there was room for travel. No ill effects and I bet you wouldn't even notice if you were looking for it.

One thing to keep in mind though. The metal there is quite thin and you don't want it to tear. A good trick is to put the handle of one hammer where you want the bend and tap the handle with another hammer to push up on the metal. So there is not contact from hammer to metal. Just hammer to wood handle to metal. If that makes sence.

PM me if you need more info.

You have to drill out and use both the anti-foul adapters. One won't take it far enough out of the exhaust stream.

Good luck!

*EDIT* Sorry, I thought you were saying it didn't work.

my buschur test pipe doesn't have a bung welded out like the one in the pic. Or are you supposed to drill the test pipe and fit the anti fouler into it or somethin. If you can help me out please gimmie a pm, I am kinda confused because my test pipe doesn't look like that. And for the o2 , where the heck is my o2 at anyway, because in the directions if I read correctly, I think it said place it near your o2 ?

on my JIC catback the bung is to the side and is not angled up so there is plenty of room for 2 anti-foulers.
