The anti-fouler works by backing the 02 sensor out of the faster moving exhaust gasses (a result of the high flowing cat or none at all obviously) and stabilises the voltage as a result. It's an old trick on the Scoobs - one I never needed to do even though I had a high flow cat
And you're right bluesky, there's very little room down there even with just the 02 sensor. That's why the Helix test pipe with the 02 simulator sits in a J from the test pipe itself.

I put it on the Helix down pipe and it fits fine. Ya a little close to the under carage but theres still plenty of movement for it. And NO CEL im very happy with this. I tryed plenty of the electronic fixes thay were all crap!!!!!! I spent all this money on crap. And this 5 dollar thing worked. Thank you so very much for coming up with this ..

Unfortunately at 10000 miles, I have a cel. P0139 Slow Response O2 Sensor. I was going to go with a high flow cat anyways.

does this make sense....i had a high flow on my car for a few weeks, no cel. Then i get my a/f tuned and a few hours later i get a cel. Is that normal? Seems strange to me that the tuner said it had nothing to do with the adjustment, but it would make sense because now the O2 is runing to compensate more fuel...no?

Even though I have the Helix Test pipe w/CEL elim, the CEL still came on after installing my test pipe. So, I installed this simple O2 fix. So far, so good. It's been about 1000 +/- a few miles, and the CEL hasn't returned. It was a very simple solution that has performed great so far.
