AFAIK, the speaker wires in the Evo are as follows:
+ = solid color wire
- = striped wire

That's how I hooked up my Infinity speakers, and they are working fine (read: not out of phase)

I have a quick question. Anybody know if the lancer and evo ecu clips the same? the reason I ask, is because I want to know if an evo patch harness will work on a lancer or mirage. and if the clips are the same, then that mean it'll work. if they are different then that means, it wont.

thanks

David

CHL-2 Keypad Starter Kill System

a couple of questions.

I only have a immobilizer on my Lancer Evo, is this considered as an alarm for the BLUE wire to connect to?..I do not know where to connect the blue wire.

On the relay, #30 connects to the wire leading to the starter motor or to the key ignition. This applies for the relay # 87. Which end connects to which wire.

The red wire connects to the 12 V Battery, would this be the constant power?

The yellow wire - is this for the accessories wire or is this the 2nd ignition wire?
Please help.

here is my wiring info for my car

Constant +12V: White(+) Ignition Switch Harness
Starter Kill: Black/Yellow (+) Ignition switch harness
Ignition +12 Volts: Black/White (+) Ignition switch harness
Accessory: Blue/Black (+) Ignition switch Harness.

Please guide me to which wires to use or not use. Thank you.

...This was a question stated by my friend. Basically, he needs help on which wires to use on the evo.
The yellow wire that he is talking about is suppose to connect to, based on what the instruction said.."Connect Yellow wires to 12V when Ignition is in both "On" and "Start". Which wire would this be? (White, Black/White, or Blue/Black)

The red wire is suppose to connect to a "Fuse 3A", (what kind of fuse is this), which is suppose to go to a 12V Battery. Can we assume that this is the constant power and if so, which wire should it be (white, Blk/wht, or Blue/blk).

Thats basically it. Anyone who can answer this, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

ECU and CEL

What is the effect of having no CEL(foreign speedometer). What code if any would be thrown? What would you do with the CEL wires to prevent, wire in another light or?
