How do you clean air vents and ducts
My VIII has seen some dusty times. I have changed my cabin air filter however it still blows dust at me. It looks like my vents as well as the ducts that carry the air to the vents are pretty dusty. Is it possible to take the vents out so you can snake a duster down the ducts to clean them up? I have seen the writeup on adding a shift light where the remove the 2 vents in the middle which is great. Does anyone know how to remove the ones on the sides?
My evo has just become my daily driver again as I gave up my company car (stupid cutbacks).
Thanks,
Tony

My suggestion is a small detailing brush or a microfiber towel spray slightly with your choice of interior product (on the microfiber towel) and put the handle of a fork/spoon between the fold in the towel and go between the vents.

I use a kit from Autozone beleive it or not. It has 3 or 4 different angled devices for cleaning out air vents and crevices. They also have tips to clean off the vents. I want to say it's from Black Magic - good stuff for cleaning out vents and small areas of the dash though.
